Pair of original 1st printing double-sided artist-signed concert handbills for concerts held in Vancouver, BC and headlined by Taj Mahal;
the first is a glossy stock 5&1/8 x 8&3/8" handbill for Taj appearing with Black Snake at the Gardens Auditorium on 11/16/1969; this one is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition- it has a semi-hard horizontal bend about 1/2" up from the bottom edge and a few scattered fingerprints, but is otherwise fine. The other is a thin flat stock 5&1/2 x 8&3/8" handbill for a double bill of Taj with Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band, also at the Gardens Auditorium on 1/31/1971. This one is in excellent (B+) condition- a soft/rounded top left corner and a touch of handling, otherwise fine. Both pieces designed by (and SIGNED in silver ink by) Bob Masse (with Matheson), a really nice pair of cool-looking Taj handbills.
